The River Wye is a designated Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Natural Resources Wales (NRW) deployed multi-parameter Sondes at six sites to help fulfil its statutory duties. The calibrated automatic monitors (Sondes) record conditions in the river at each location every 15 minutes for the following parameters: Temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, total algae (including chlorophyll) and nitrate. River level and flow have also added on the dashboard to see their impact on water quality
